During the early episodes, Oggy, like his predecessor Tom in Tom and Jerry, was the primary punching bag in the series. However, in more recent episodes, Oggy has been portrayed as heroic, often triumphing over the cockroaches regardless of the beatings he adopts from their website and Bob. Notable other accomplishments include winning the F1, placing first within a marathon, and eventually winning over his girlfriend Olivia.

Joey can be a purple-pink body, purple-blue head roach which has a pink eye and yellow eye (pink right eye and yellow left eye, originally red), along with the older brother. Even though he's the smallest roach inside the group, more often than not he's probably the most intelligent, always being the brain within the plans, but is sometimes expected to go solo, because his brothers often think his plans are stupid. He loves money, but his efforts always don't succeed, usually ending with him getting swatted or passed.

Marky is really a suave heartbreaking, silvery-grey body, green head roach with pink eyes (originally red, but returned inside the ending in the episode Teleportation where he's stuck inside the ice cubes); he is the tallest and middle brother from the three roaches and sometimes doesn't really worry about what are the two others are doing. As they originally utilized to love causing mischief much like his brothers, she has gotten more laid-back in later episodes, though he still enjoys spending time with Joey and Dee Dee and causing general mayhem like he's got always done. His hobbies are dating puppets and reading books. He also has foul breath, as revealed in the episode 'It's A little World' Season 1.

Dee Dee could be the ever-hungry cockroach and youngest of the three. He's a blue body, orange head and green eyes. His appetite sometimes reaches insane proportions, often inducing the use of larger animals and other issues that would otherwise be inedible (including hyenas once and, due to the effects of a poisonous mushroom in another case, a bug. Other instances range from the fish for the wallpaper Oggy's Clone along with a clownfish Diving). He is known to like opera. Idea shown that his feet are really foul-smelling, the juice they produce is toxic and melt objects just like the Xenomorphs in the Alien franchise when they have been acid for blood.

Jack is Oggy's cousin. He's got a natural body, yellow eyes, light orange stummy and white feet, within the show. He could be Oggy's cousin and the complete the complete Oggy. Jack is short-tempered, violent, arrogant - a great target to the roaches to bother. He often finds himself building huge machinery, for example roach-catching contraptions, usually leading to them backfiring. He could be incredibly interested in chemistry (that is, the more explosive aspects of it). Jack often sleeps from Oggy's house. Sometimes, he bullies Oggy. Jack appears to be the best character inside the show. He loves to exhibit, challenge the roaches and date girls - mainly Oggy's sister Monica. He's sometimes seen trying to give Monica, however the cockroaches' pranks always lead him to stop short. In a episode, they seem to get a baby together and have Oggy to babysit their son or daughter. Jack even offers a morbid anxiety about heights, as shown in a number of episodes like 'The Lighthouse Keeper' Season 3. However, in 'The Rise & The Fall' Season 1 it is

Oggy with a fear of heights instead of Jack.

Bob is often a fierce brown bulldog and Oggy's neighbour. He's severe anger management issues. A running gag from the show has Oggy or Jack doing something which accidentally crushes Bob or shaves his fur or destroys his house, with Bob then pummeling Oggy or Jack off-screen. He doesn't always pummel Oggy, as noticed in Baby Boum and Police Academy. He has some sort of friendship with Jack, as notably noticed in Olivia. He or she is proven to like boxing.

Olivia is a white cat and Oggy's new neighbour and new love interest. She loves nature, even Oggy's enemies Joey, Marky and Dee Dee, resulting in Oggy acting nice to them every time she's around. She always in time breaks down if someone else hurts any section of nature. She also cares a good deal about her looks; inside the episode Olivia's Pimple when she sees a pimple to be with her face, she refuses to leave her house. From the series last episode 'Oggy Is Getting Married Featuring Olivia', Olivia and Oggy got married after a trip to Venice.
